| Brief Title, Title Brief | In Voyager Reporting, the BRIEF_TITLE is the contents of the 245 fields subfields a and b only. | On the Fly, "On the fly", on-the-fly |
"On the Fly" is a method for adding records to your library's catalog using templates in the Voyager Circulation client, usually done as a part of Voyager Reserves workflows, but also for minimally cataloged materials such as headphones, supplies, equipment, calculators, etc. that circulate from the Circulation desk. Records may also be added on the fly as a part of the Acquisitions Purchase Order process.
