CARLI is seeking nominations for candidates to fill seats on the CARLI Governance Board. The Board is the governing authority of the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois.
CARLI Governing Members will elect one Board member from each of three specified constituencies (public universities, community colleges, and private colleges and universities). Candidates receiving the most votes for each constituency will serve three-year terms, July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029.

CARLI Committee Volunteer Application Open through May 1
If you have been considering volunteering for a CARLI committee, the application period will remain open until May 1. Volunteers chosen for a committee will serve a three-year term. Faculty and staff from all CARLI member libraries are encouraged to apply!
CARLI Moving to New Support Ticketing System
On Thursday, February 26, 2026, CARLI will move to a new cloud-based ticketing system called TeamDynamix (TDX). It will replace the locally run ticketing system that CARLI has used since 2006 and will allow us to provide you with more consistent and better documented support.

ILDS Holiday Information
The CARLI office will be closed Wednesday, December 24 through Thursday, January 1. Regular hours will resume on Friday, January 2.
The CARLI Office will also be closed in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday on January 19, 2026.

On behalf of Nicholas Jones, Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs, University of Illinois System, we are pleased to announce that Laurie Blandino has been named director designate of the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI), which is part of the University of Illinois System. She will begin her role December 8, while pending formal approval for her position at the January meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois.
Honoring Anne Craig
It is official! At their September 18 meeting, the ILA Executive Board confirmed Anne Craig as an Illinois Library Luminary! Anne′s achievements were celebrated at the ILA Award Luncheon on October 14 during the ILA Annual Conference in Rosemont.
