Late today CARLI staff got reports of mainly EBSCOhost electronic collection links not connecting in PrimoVE. Further investigation found that some of the proxy settings were changed to “no” at the full text service level.
To check, go to your Alma and look up EBSCOhost electronic collections. Select one and click on “Collection Editor”
Then to "Additional" tab, then scroll down to Full text service.
RESOLVED 1:30PM 7/30/2020 - Ex Libris has corrected the issue and the local Request forms should once again be displaying when you click the link in the Get It section of Primo VE.
CARLI has heard from some I-Share institutions who are offering local request (their patrons, requesting their items) that the local Request form does not open on screen after patrons select the local request link in the Primo VE Get It section. We have reported this to Ex Libris and will provide an update when we have one. Thank you for your patience!
CARLI staff have posted a current list of libraries which have resumed delivery service. We will be updating this list as more libraries resume service.
RESOLVED 7:00pm, Monday, July 27
CARLI has opened a support issue with Ex Libris regarding the slow response times of the "Get It" section of Primo VE record displays. The Ex Libris development team is actively investigating the issue for a cause and for solutions. CARLI staff are continuing to contribute examples of this issue to aid in the ongoing investigation. If you have details to share on response time problems in Alma or Primo VE, please submit those details in our I-Share Response Time Reporting Form.

Ex Libris implemented fixes overnight to address all of the problems that CARLI I-Share libraries had reported in Alma and Primo VE. All functionality should be back to normal. Please contact CARLI support if you have any further problems or questions.

CARLI has been receiving reports of numerous problems in Alma and Primo VE on Monday, July 6:
We are heartbroken to announce that CARLI Library Systems Coordinator Lorna Engels passed away on June 27. The outpouring of love shown to Lorna attests to the impact she had on so many, including all of us at CARLI. She was a wonderful, creative, and caring person and we will miss her. Many of you may have known or worked with Lorna in her work at the University of Illinois Library, at Heartland Community College, and at CARLI, where she has been a part of the staff since July 2006.
Today, June 24 at 1 p.m., the eighty-nine libraries in I-Share went live in Ex Libris’ Alma Primo VE. The successful migration of the I-Share libraries concludes a years-long process of selection, training, data review, testing, and configuration. We encourage everyone involved in this work to take a moment to pat themselves on the back, and to congratulate their colleagues. It is a job well-done.

UPDATE: I-Share Alma Production/Cutover Load Bibliographic Data Review that was scheduled to begin on June 17 has been delayed.
Ex Libris has notified CARLI that they will have most I-Share libraries’ Alma Institution Zones ready for data review beginning tomorrow morning, Thursday, June 18, 2020. Please continue to stay out of Alma and Primo VE until you hear from us that you may begin data review. We will send out an email update on Thursday morning with more details.

I-Share Alma Production/Cutover Load Bibliographic Data Review that was scheduled to begin on June 17 has been delayed.
Our Alma environments are not yet ready for your review or use. I-Share Libraries: Please do not attempt to login to Alma or Primo VE until CARLI announces that the system is ready. Attempts to login while the Alma data are being loaded can slow down the processing of our data.
