CARLI Cancelling In-Person Events March 13-April 3

As with all our member libraries, CARLI is monitoring developments related to the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus. Due to the health and travel concerns and with the understanding that institutional travel and event policies and recommendations are changing rapidly, CARLI is canceling the following in-person events scheduled for March 18 through April 3:

• Alma Workshop at Big Ten Conference Center (Day 1-Resource Management), March 18
• Alma Workshop at Big Ten Conference Center (Day 2-Fulfillment), March 19
• Preservation Committee Program at the Newberry Library and Chicago History Museum, March 2
• Director Session at Greenville University, April 3

The April 2 event Getting Ready for Primo VE at Joliet Junior College will be held as a streaming event only, with no in-person attendance.

Staff registered for these events will be notified about their cancellation.

We will continue to monitor recommendations from the CDC, the Illinois Department of Public Health and the University of Illinois, and will reevaluate whether to cancel other April/May events. Please contact the CARLI Office if you have any questions or concerns.
