Alma Configuration Form Directions

Overview

Updated 9/6/2019

• Your library will fill out and submit the Configuration Form only once, in preparation for the Test Load.
  • Ex Libris uses the Alma Configuration Form to automatically populate your Alma instance with initial settings.
  • During the test phase, your library will be able to test and refine the settings. They will be kept in place for production.
• Due Date: Your library's Configuration Form is due, uploaded to Box, on Wednesday, September 18th.
• The Thursday, 2pm CARLI Alma & Primo VE Migration Open Office Hours on 8/29, 9/5, and 9/12 will be dedicated to Configuration Form Q&A.

  • CARLI Office staff have annotated the Ex Libris Alma Configuration Form guide to include CARLI required and recommended settings.
  • Some sections of the Ex Libris guide that do not apply to I-Share libraries are greyed-out.
    • When printing this PDF: Pages relevant to configuration form: 1-12 & 17-92, Informational pages: 108-114. Pages NOT relevant to I-Share Alma implementation: 13-16, 93-107.
  • Ex Libris has offers a sample, completed configuration form in the Ex Libris Knowledge Center. This sample includes some tabs that are not relevant to I-Share libraries.
