Announcements

• CARLI Announcements:
• The CARLI E-book program for FY25 was announced last week. Six informational sessions will be presented. The Ebook Program web site has been updated with perpetual access titles.
• WEST program for distributed serials storage: a webinar was presented on October 12. Information is available on the CARLI web site.
• Implementation of new I-Share libraries continues. Five new institutions are currently being added.

Discussion

• The subcommittees on Weeding and DEI used this time to meet and discuss plans. They then reported back at the end. There will be subcommittee notes in the Box folder.
• DEI highlights: Jen took notes at the DEI breakout session at the CARLI annual meeting. Future actions: literature review, working toward a panel program. Include concerns of small libraries. We could also examine CARLI e-books purchases. CARLI can supply some data for collection analysis that individual libraries do not have, such as I-Share holdings and old circulation.
• Weeding subcommittee: Discussion of disposal options; CARLI will investigate whether there are state contracts or other group options for members.
