In all cases below, “xxx” is your library’s three-letter CARLI code.
If using an internal, shared backup account (because your single sign-on is unavailable)…

If using single sign-on using Shibboleth authentication...

How do I create a shortcut to this URL?
You may want to create bookmarks or shortcuts to the URLs above. You should only save the URLs in the format found above. The single sign-on URLs will automatically redirect to a dynamic URL that is not useful as a bookmark.
Windows desktop
- Right click on your desktop
- Select New > Shortcut
- Paste the URL from above (with your CARLI code) to the box labeled “Type the location of the item:”
- Click Next.
- Enter a name for the shortcut, e.g., Alma single sign-on.
- Click Finish.
Firefox
- Open your bookmarks with Ctrl-Shift+B.
- Click Organize > New Bookmark.
- Enter the name of the bookmark, then paste the URL from above (with your CARLI code) as the Location.
- Click Add.
Chrome
- Open your bookmarks folder with Ctrl+Shift+O.
- Click the three vertical dots button, then select Add bookmark.
- Enter the name of the bookmark, then paste the URL from above (with your CARLI code) as the URL.
- Click Save.
Edge
- Open your favorites with Ctrl+Shift+O.
- Click the three horizontal dots button, then select Open Favorites Page.
- Click Add Favorite (Star-plus button).
- Enter the name of the favorite, then paste the URL from above (with your CARLI code) as the URL.
- Click Save.
