Discovery Primo VE Task Force — March 9, 2022

2. Minutes from the February 9, 2022 meeting approved
3. Committee Reports follow-up: Jessica and Amy will notify other committees through their CARLI liaison that DPTF will no longer be coming to meetings.

      1. No report. Did not meet
   2. PrimoVE analytics (Amy K, Alice, Christine)
      
      1. Completed draft of Analytics 101, members of subcommittee have approved
      2. Analytics 101 will be posted to CARLI website and the committee will meet to decide where they want to present this document (possibly at May Office Hours)
   3. Showcase (Aimee, Lindsey)
      
      1. Potential June 7th date, 90 minutes
      2. Panel discussion about getting started with customization in Primo VE
      3. Looking for panelist recommendations from committee: Christine (DPU), Alan Barry (UIC)
      4. Suggestions: changing favicon and label in browser bar
      5. Will revisit in April after CARLI and committee members have thought about and talked to potential panelists from their institutions
   4. Potential areas of inquiry/work for the Task Force
5. New Business
   New Sub-group creation and assignments
   1. Dedup/FRBR
      
      1. Alice, Tami, Christine, Colin
      2. Long term issue that will have cover multiple years so this is a starting point
   2. Collections
      
      1. Lindsey, Marlee, Aimee, Amy K.
   3. Ethical cataloging being investigated by Technical Services Committee. Jessica has been attending to cover PrimoVE overlap. This isn’t something that needs to be tackled by DPTF, but interested parties may be able to join TS subcommittee.
   4. New Items
      
      1. Colin is interested. We will most likely table to take on with new members if DPTF becomes standing committee
      2. Colin has done some investigating and found some older documentation and other workarounds.
   5. Citation Options
      
      1. Labels are out of date for some citation styles. Easy fix but just needs documentation. Possibly cover at Showcase. (Aimee)
      2. How to add new citation style that isn’t there. (Alice)
      3. Known issues page entry
6. Other items from the floor
   
   1. Alma/PrimoVE and EBSCO issue
      
      1. Is this more about EBSCO API and CDI issues or access? Jessica will follow-up with more info.
7. Meeting recap and actions for next meeting (April 13)
   
   1. Continuing subgroups will meet and/or finish work
   2. New subgroups will meet for first time prior to next meeting
