This webinar will address current copyright issues and trends.

Presented by Carrie Russell, American Library Association, Office for Information Technology Policy, Director, Program on Public Access to Information. Carrie has worked for OITP since 1999, first as Copyright Specialist where she developed copyright education programs for librarians and analyzed the expansion of copyright law in the digital environment and its impact on public policy. As Director of the Program on Public Access to Information, her portfolio also includes international copyright, accessibility, and e-books.

This webinar is geared toward those at the Director level, with CARLI Library Deans and Directors as the intended audience. This event will be recorded.

Computer setup

If you’d like to make sure your computer is set up to be able to run Adobe Connect before the webinar, review this guide for checking your computer’s settings:

Audio for the webinar will be via Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) only. All attendees will be able to ask questions of the presenters via a chat function within the software. The most important part of the audio set up wizard is to ensure you can hear the audio. Attendee microphones will not be used for this webinar.
