CARLI Selects Ex Libris Alma Library Services Platform for Our Ninety-One I-Share Libraries

It is with great pleasure that we make the following announcement:

Ex Libris Alma has been chosen for our next I-Share platform! Alma will replace Voyager and SFX in 2020 for the 91 institutions that are part of CARLI’s I-Share resource sharing system. We look forward to Alma helping CARLI extend and expand the resource sharing and collaborative programs that our consortium has offered our members for almost 40 years.

Please join us in expressing deep appreciation and thanks to the tireless and most extraordinary members of the I-Share Next Task Force. Task force members spent four years on this project, shaping member input and aspirations into a highly detailed, thorough, and complex RFP that was issued and awarded through the University’s procurement process. They persevered through many challenges and stayed on course, worked through weekends and holidays, and have now secured a wonderful new service for our membership. We owe them great praise for their contributions to our consortium, dividends that will be paid for many years to come. We are especially grateful to Kristine Hammerstrand, Chair of the I-Share Next Task Force, for her unfailing devotion to this project and its successful conclusion.
