CARLI Digitized Book of the Month – September 2015

The Lynx Forever Lincoln College (1981-82)

Welcome back, students!

Fall classes are underway at many schools, and the 1981-82 faculty at Lincoln College are thrilled to have you back.

Professor Symon says, “This is your textbook. Buy it. Read it. Love it.”

As I thought about the faculty featured in this yearbook, it struck me that I’m sure there are many people in the Lincoln College community who will recognize these younger versions of their former instructors, coaches or colleagues. I’ll admit I began to look up some of the names online in an effort to discover more about who they were and what positions they held. I found that some of the faculty on these pages have passed away and some have retired, but I found at least one individual on this page who currently holds a prominent position at another CARLI institution.

I won’t spoil the fun by naming names because isn’t that the joy that yearbooks bring us? They provide an opportunity to reflect on the past, remember our youth, and ask ourselves, “Where are they now?”

So, welcome back to all of our students, and may you create your own memories this academic year.
