Assistant Professor, Research and Teaching Librarian - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville

Library and Information Services (LIS) at SIUE) seeks a collaborative and innovative Research and Teaching Librarian to join the Research, Teaching, and Learning (RTL) Department. This faculty position focuses on designing and delivering inclusive, evidence-based library instruction, providing research support, and building partnerships that integrate information literacy across the curriculum.

The librarian will work closely with the Information Literacy Librarian and Online Learning Librarian to strengthen foundational instruction for first-year writing and oral communication (General Education), and to bridge those outcomes into upper-level, research-intensive courses.
