Tomas Lipinski, Professor of Library & Information Science at Kent State


Prof. Lipinski will be presenting on the legal aspects of library security including:


  • The legal aspects of public services how the courts generally respond to policies that are challenged.
  • Problem patrons and policy making, discussing how the case law can inform proper policy crafting and application.
  • Court cases and the situations and policies involved which illustrate the application of library security concepts.
