Winter Sports - CARLI Digital Collections Featured Image

It’s really cold out. And it’s going to get worse – next week will be the coldest it’s been since 1996 in some parts of the Midwest. I’m not a big fan of winter, but I feel like if I’m going to be cold and miserable, there might as well be snow. Yeah, I am little old for sledding (except unintentionally in my car) but I love gazing out my 6th floor office window and surveying the majesty of countless white, fluffy flakes, looking deceptively homogeneous in their collective state. Today's featured image is a hat-tip to some students at Southern Illinois University Carbondale who are far more intrepid than me! Enjoy winter as much as you can, however you choose, but stay warm!
