UB Stat 3 & 5 updates

To make the UB Stat 3 and UB Stat 5 report a more valuable collection development tool, CARLI is adding a normalized title field (NORMAL_HEADING_2450) to the monthly results, beginning with the April 2017 data. The NORMAL_HEADING_2450  field makes it possible for library staff to compare requested titles with your library’s collection using newly developed shared SQL.
 
The four new Shared SQL for each report are:

• UBStat#- Normalized Title Match- Titles In Collection
• UBStat#- Normalized Title Match- Titles Not In Collection
• UBStat#- OCLC Number Match- Titles In Collection
• UBStat#- OCLC Number Match- Titles Not In Collection

Most titles have only one NORMAL_HEADING_2450, however, it is possible for a title to have more than one, especially if the title is in another language.
Titles with multiple NORMAL_HEADING_2450 entries may make it appear that the title had additional patron requests.
