CONTENTdm New Collection Request Form

Request a new collection be created for your institution using the following form. Provide us with the name for the new collection and the user names that should be allowed to access the collection. Collection names must include your institution's full name in parentheses and cannot be more than 80 characters, including spaces.

Examples: John Jochman Album (Benedictine University) or The Arthur Landwehr Sermon Collection (Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary)

The collection name cannot include any of the following characters: \ / : * ? " < > |

This request should be submitted by your institution's CARLI Primary CONTENTdm Contact.

Collection aliases all start with the institution's three-letter code and an underscore that the CARLI office uses to help identify the collection. It will be found as part of the URL when you view your collection online or in your collection's configuration information in CONTENTdm Web Administration. If you would like a specific collection alias, please let our office know and we will do our best to accommodate the request. Collections aliases cannot be repeated. Maximum length of a collection alias is 13 characters, including your three-letter institution code and the underscore (example: sic_ or mls_). Examples of collection aliases: uic_rjd, sie_plants, iwu_argus, npu_narthex

 

In the following section, please provide all user names that should have access to the new collection you are requesting. If all of your institution's user names should have access to the collection, you may add "All" to the first user name box.
