CARLI Open Education Network Membership

CARLI is a member of the Open Education Network (OEN), a consortium of colleges and universities working to advance open textbook initiatives.

CARLI is thrilled to be a part of this community of schools, universities, and institutions making a difference in higher education by addressing the growing concerns about educational affordability. CARLI members have access to consortial community benefits and member resources.

OEN supports the Open Textbook Library, a searchable online catalog of complete textbooks available for faculty and students to freely use, adapt and distribute to best meet the needs of their courses. Open textbooks can be downloaded at no cost or printed inexpensively. The Open Textbook Library's resources can be found in the individual library catalogs of our I-Share members via this link of all I-Share members. Use "Open Textbook Library" (with quotes) in a catalog to find the available textbooks. Records are updated monthly.

Workshop and Reviews of open textbooks in the Open Textbook Library

All CARLI Governing Members may invite their faculty to write a review of textbooks found in the Open Textbook Library. Please contact for more information about the process.
