PDA Event: Media Landscapes: What's New in Digital Citizenship

COVID-19 has changed the landscape for teaching and learning, with scores of students learning from home, more devices being rolled out in 1:1 initiatives, and more use of digital resources. In this session, we will talk about digital citizenship elements and what are some of the new thoughts and trends in helping students navigate this landscape.

Mary Mehsikomer has worked in Minnesota's education system at a state and regional level for just over 40 years. Mary worked at the Minnesota Department of Education for over 28 years and also worked as a network administrator for the NW-LINKS consortium of 70 school districts and four regional public library systems at Region 1 in northwest Minnesota. She has been employed at Sourcewell Technology for the past 10 years as an instructor and outreach facilitator. Learn more.
