Announcements   

• SaaS cycle opened on Tuesday and will be open through March 28 (Alma Digital, Leganto, OpenAthens, WEST storage solutions).  Selections to opt in for FY26 are made in Consortia Manager.
• Invitations for committee volunteers went out this week.  There are open spots in all committees, including the new CARLI Archival committee. 
• Sara Rizzo mentioned that she will be presenting on Primo at the upcoming ELUNA conference.  Marisa and Ted will also be co-presenting at ELUNA. 

Discussion

• Marisa explained to the committee some issues surrounding ahead of print articles, seen in some of the EBSCOhost databases, particularly in MEDLINE Ultimate.  ExLibris is working on an enhancement to fix this issue, but until that fix is deployed, Marisa asked the committee members for ways to make this clearer to users in PrimoVE. 
  • Some committee members thought a simplified collection note would be best, but others felt students may not understand the messaging which could lead to discouraged student use. 
  • It was suggested that CARLI could explore creating a GES or DLR that could keep these articles from displaying in PrimoVE.

Decisions

• Minutes of the February 14, 2025 meeting approved.
• CARLI will not place a public note to address articles ahead of print articles just yet and will wait on the Ex Libris update.

Tasks Assigned

• Megan Ruenz is preparing the presentation on Usage Statistics for the April meeting.
  • Lisa Wallis will monitor chat.
