Associate Director - Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science

Reporting to the Associate Vice President of the Boxer Library and Information Collaboration the Associate Director for the Boxer Library manages the day to day operations of the Boxer Library as well as collaborating with the Associate Vice President on cultivating the vision of Boxer Library resources, spaces and services for all university initiatives. In this role, the Associate Director supervises and manages the librarian level positions and guides the problem solving and solution building within library services.

Earliest Start Date: July 1, 2024 
Working Location: 4 days per week on site with the option of 1 remote day with the hours of Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:00pm.
Budgeted Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Requirements 

  • Master’s degree in library science or equivalent from a graduate program accredited by the American Library Association
  • Five years of experience in academic libraries with at least three years of experience as a lead in managing projects. 
  • Experience in using health sciences resources such as PubMed, CINAHL, Ovid Medline, etc.
