• CARLI updates (Debbie & Lorna) 
  • Lots of CARLI in-person events have been canceled, or will be streamed online, for the next couple of weeks due to COVID-19.
• OER Week
  • Folks posted every day on the listserv but few interactions.
• Open Office Hours Webinar
  • This provided information about the Alma/Primo migration timeline and the slides are available online.
• Debbie encouraged folks to take a look at Primo VE, especially as it relates to patron-side requests.
• There have been few conversations at CARLI regarding events beyond April as CARLI is waiting to see what is happening for May and beyond.
  • For example, planning for the Information Literacy Showcase should move forward with the idea that, depending on the progression of COVID-19, the event may need to virtual.
• Getting Ready for Primo VE Webinar--in person event canceled 3/10/20
  • Thursday, April 2, 2020 - 9:00am to 4:00pm https://www.carli.illinois.edu/getting-ready-primo-ve-joliet-junior-college 
• Article club:
  • Thoughts on how it went
    • The 3rd moderator was useful, despite fewer chat participants.
    • Consider encouraging participants turn on their webcams to increase participation.
    • Consider also encouraging participants to use the “raise hand” option.

  • Dawn Stahura, “ACT UP: Evaluating Sources and Pushing Against Privilege,” from 1:00PM-2:00PM
  • Announcement sent out by Debbie on 3/3/20; registration now available

    • 28 registrations so far.
    • The event is planned for 1 hour.
    • There should be an introduction.  
    • Generating some questions?
    • Do we want to let questions flow from Dawn’s presentation or do we want to generate some based on the article?

    • Dee Anna contacted Rebecca Yowler of Knox College, inviting her to re-submit the proposal she initially submitted for the Spring Webinar (no response).  
  • Call for proposals went out on 3/3/20: 
    • Proposals will be reviewed at the April meeting.
