Announcements
- Marisa reported that the CARLI ConsortiaManager is open for SaaS (Software as a Service) product selection.
- Marisa Tolbert and Yanira Cruz have a recorded session at ER&L (Electronic Resources & Libraries) this year.
- Marisa Tolbert will lead an electronic resource teatime for members through June.
- Ted Schwitzner announced that the Tech Services Committee will host one session.
Discussion
- Marisa received a request from NEI to activate Royal Society of Chemistry Open Access collection in NZ. Short discussion about the pros and cons of managing OA resources in the NZ followed. Management of OA resources in the NZ was based on past recommendations of CARLI committees and a vetting process described in CARLI documentation (see Open Access Materials Program page and NZ managed collections page). Committee structures have changed and currently there is no OA selection committee. For CARLI staff, managing OA resources and troubleshooting has been a burden and sharing to NZ is not always the right solution. Changing the process will increase title count only if libraries use local records/collections but is not an issue when CZ managed collections are used in IZ.
- Closed Committee meeting was followed by ERMC Presents: Interpreting Counter Stats & Storytelling, a presentation by Samantha Loster and Megan Ruenz.

- Thane Montaner will take meeting minutes next month.
- Marisa will check the linking of the RSC OA collection.
