Instruction Librarian - North Park University

North Park University seeks an instruction librarian for a ten-month, tenure-track faculty position. As a member of the information literacy faculty, this individual will collaborate with faculty members to teach and assess information literacy and research skills that are appropriate for the discipline and course level. North Park’s information literacy program is based on ACRL’s Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education. Faculty members are expected to engage in research and serve on university committees. All Instruction Librarians are assigned to one or more schools as library liaisons. Liaison duties include designing an information literacy program appropriate for the curriculum of the assigned schools, being available for individual consultations with students studying in the liaison’s area, and assisting with collection development in subject matter related to liaison responsibilities.
