  1. Review and approve previous minutes (May 1, 2024)

  2. Standing work updates
    • Local resource types (Andrew)
      • Still cleaning up audio types
    • Local fields (Matt/Jessica)
      • Jessica: no new progress to report
        • would like to get wrapped up by June
      • Lindsey, wondering if additional help useful
        • Jessica: The current delay is in reviewing the Orbis Cascade “compendium”.  Want to reconsider our choices in light of their documentation.
    • Dedup/FRBR (Jessica)
        • Jessica: nothing new to report
        • Adding in 5 new libraries to I-Share, going live in June
          • Some of them are befuddled by Dedup/FRBR
          • It is ok to simply turn one or both off if you do not like the search results with them on
    • Colin:
      • If anything needs to be dropped off of our standing agenda and not reported on we could change it; committee agrees to keep the current list for now
    • IDEA exchange (Allan)
      • Nothing new to report
      • Allan to provide some items for the June 11 Webinar

  3. June Search Ranking / Resource Recommender / Showcase Feature webinar (colin)
    • Idea exchange session at the end
    • Primo Showcase
      • Not necessarily fully in details:
      • each section: “considerations”: open discussion points
      • pitfalls to be on the lookout for
      • Jessica: May 5 release may include enhancements
        • limits going up to 20
        • embed also in Primo
        • local thumbnails OK
        • accessibility improvements
      • Colin: will update section
    • Resource Recommender: Andrew will take the lead on this section and will demo two ways to import resources
    • Logistics will be decided at the June 5 meeting; for example, who will run the slides, or will each presenter run their own slides?
    • Search Ranking: Laura will cover why we all got started with this and share initial research and resources, changes to blended profiles and share why and how these were implemented as well as:
      • additional resources for goals and use cases
      • two options for testing
        • sandbox
        • search profile slot
      • documentation styles
      • no magic numbers for boosting
      • feedback from colleagues
  4. Primo Analytics (colin)
    • No new work has been done, just keeping this idea on our radar.
  5. Annual Report (colin)
    • Colin will write a first draft to include a brief snapshot of the Committee’s activities over the past year.
    • Members involved in subgroups should provide a two-to-three sentence synopsis
    • focus on webinars by May 15
    • review of final report via email
