Decisions

• Minutes of the June 15, 2018 meeting were approved prior to the meeting.
• The Board unanimously approved the recommendation of the I-Share Next Task Force that the CARLI Board of Directors enters into contract negotiations with ProQuest Ex Libris to license their hosted library services platform, Alma, for the 91 CARLI-I-Share libraries.
• The meeting was adjourned at 1:20 p.m.

Tasks Assigned

• CARLI will submit the recommendation to the University of Illinois Board of Trustees for approval.
• CARLI will follow up with Ex Libris on metrics and pricing for individual libraries.
• Following final approval of the University of Illinois Board of Trustees, CARLI will work with Ex Libris on best on final pricing.
• CARLI will bring a plan to the Board of Directors regarding the use of the reserve funds for the implementation and transition at the December meeting.
