  •   CARLI updates
    • Reports mini-webinar Thursday 2/23 at 1 pm.
    • ILA proposals due Friday March 24
    • Open Houses
      • 1st Public Services Committee Open House is March 17 at UIUC and is about makerspaces
      • Watch for announcements about other Public Services Committee Open Houses
      • Collection management/tech services Spring Forum is April 28
      • Resource Sharing Open Houses will be Thursday, April 6 at UIC and Friday, May 19 at Eureka College and Illinois Central Community College.

Discussions

  • Annual project
    • Needs to be done in June
    • Can continue to add readings to Google Doc; try to find newer ones?
    • Deadline for annotations completed: next meeting, March 21. Will extend deadline in March if needed.
    • Amy will follow up with Counting Opinions about 2014 and 2015 data
    • Eric will ask if ILLinet traffic survey is required to be completed before state library certification can be completed.
  • Listserv topic
    • Last topic was about makerkits; only 4 responses received.
      • State Library loans makerkits that are available through I-Share and OCLC
      • Not many other individual libraries have them though
    • Next month: how do you count statistics for articles found outside of ILL? (eg, on Internet, in library collection, etc). What system do you use to fill ILL requests? (ILLiad, WorldShare)
    • Summaries of listserv questions will be posted to Resource Sharing listserv
  • Other info
    • Committee proposal accepted by Great Lakes Resource Sharing Conference
      • Kelly, CARLI Tech Services Committee both waiting to hear back
