Decisions:

• Minutes of the June 5th meeting were approved prior to the meeting.

Announcements:

• Susan Singleton announced that the white paper was being replaced with an Annual Project
• The CARLI Annual Meeting will be on October 30th and will consist of 15 minute presentations on last year’s White Papers with CARLI members as the audience
• Voyager 9.1 will be released during the summer of 2015

Tasks assigned:

• Minute taking will be done alphabetically, going backwards, by last name, beginning with Jeff Ridinger.
• We will continue with supplying a topic to the Resource Sharing Listserv on a monthly basis. 
  • Amy L. will formulate the September topic around the subject of “How does your library prioritize or handle multiple requests for the same book. 
  • Topics for later months include
    • When does your library use OCLC to make requests rather than I-Share
    • How often do you print callslips
    • Hold shelf limits
    • Revising the Nov. 2013 topic about UB patrons in your library
• Think about possible topic suggestions and speakers for upcoming events/activities. 
  • These would tentatively include a Fall 2014 Webinar, Spring 2015 open house(s) and a Fall 2015 Speaker (to be coordinated in the Spring of 2015). 
  • Topic suggestions should be sent to the group by September 5th for consideration
• The Committee will need to look at and provide necessary updates to the Best Practices for Circulation Documentaion of OCLC requests, and the Standard Policy for UBIN (compared to UBLong and UBReg).  These documents should be available for all CARLI members, not just I-Share
• Annual Project proposal for the CARLI Board by November 1st.
