Discussion and Decisions

• Andrew Lenaghan was selected to take minutes.
• The PSWG said goodbye to three members who terms are up this summer. Jane Currie, Sean McCarthy and Sue Franzen will be leaving the group. The PSWG thanked them immensely for all of their hard work during their terms.
• The PSWG is also saying goodbye to one of our liaisons, Jennifer Masciadrelli. The PSWG is very thankful for all of her time and hard work working with us.
• Debbie Campbell will be the new CARLI liaison.
• Discussion topics for next year
  • Thinking about starting fresh with new topics and events, or working on completing the goals not yet finished on the wiki – no determination was made.
  • Federated searching and their relationship to institutional repositories
  • Data services, or creating programs for GIS – handling raw data sets
• Instruction Group Collaboration
  • David and Marianne are still willing to participate with a collaboration team between PSWG and Instruction.
• Video project/Web space update
  • The video project will still move forward in the next year. The committee will work on creating a space either in the CARLI website or externally on a video hosting site, like YouTube

Meeting date

Our next meeting will at the CARLI offices in Champaign. The date will be scheduled in the coming month.
