- There’s a new email list tracking system migration upcoming for CARLI Support. Nothing should happen on the user end.

- The Collection Development Committee will be hosting a talk on collecting non-traditional materials in an academic environment.

- Blog post due March 18 or earlier. Sata Prescott will write on how to create plans for re-formatting in or out of house.
- Jason will be writing about older buildings and climate control in April.
- Compliance with ADA standards for electronic materials
- A question was raised about guidance for the upcoming legal requirements for Title II accessibility.
- The general timbre of this conversation is worried and unsure. There are not a lot of good options for compliance and remediation. We discussed documentation of attempts for remediation and archival requests. We’re needing to ensure that materials that are added online are compliant so that they do not have to be remediated.

- Committee discussed opening these sessions to other parties beyond CARLI.
- The group discussed and agreed that opening to RAILS and IHLS.

- Subcommittee has met and has begun work around standards.
- A draft exists, and the subcommittee will share it for wordsmithing.
- Here's a previous committee's article about disaster kits.
- Tornado section planned to send out as a separate email for CARLI members in March
- The committee will continue to produce single “disaster” guides.
- Project: Disaster Preparedness Planning
- Polygon, a company, is able to provide an educational webinar.
- CARLI staff will meet on Thursday morning with the Polygon rep to discuss the webinar’s content.
- Inherited / Outdated Disaster Plans
- The committee discussed an idea of having a session that those that have inherited a disaster plan or have a plan that needs updating to have a joint online work session that they could ask questions as they work on updating their local disaster plans.
- Committee thought this was a good idea and will add to a future agenda to discuss scheduling.
- Project: Collaboration with Florida Virtual Campus on another Summer Digitization Series
- Committee noted that the main provider of microfilm is closing.
- Potential projects list
- Committee decided to bring the list of potential projects up again in a few months when committee has time to work on the planning.
- An additional idea was suggested for a session on grant-writing for small projects.
- Sata volunteers to write out an outline for June meeting for a live book repair session, possibly connecting with IHLS.
