CARLI Updates/Announcements

• Alma/Primo VE
  • CARLI staff is being trained on ALMA
  • Now an Almo/Primo VE section on the website, project updates, etc.
  • See Priorities for Data Clean UP
  • May be some instructional opportunities with ALMA for committee members
• OER conference coming up April 29 at Loyola (Water Tower campus)- all info on CARLI website for registration
• Call for committee volunteers went out this week

  • Lesson Plan Workshop Update
    • Mackenzie and Marielle had a conference call meeting yesterday with Kellee Warren (librarian at UIC) about her interest in facilitating the lesson plan workshop at the Instruction Showcase.  She presented on Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy at JCLC last year.  Kellee is interested in presenting and has agreed to send us a draft/outline of the workshop.

    • Number of showcases we want will affect the number of time slots we have. (15-20 minutes)
    • Everything is flexible at this time
    • Do we want a library instructions basics section?
      • This could be Tim- Will finalize
