  1. Unfinished Business
    1. Hide I-Share request link custom javascript code
      1. Do not display the button when there are no other holdings in I-Share
        1. Desired results depend on configurations in your system.
        2. A replacement for the “hide I-share request” process that was not desired by some institutions for local reasons
        3. Should be something that all institutions want, since the request will go nowhere for these unique titles
      2. Initial successful results.
      3. Next steps: Marlee and Amy will test and report back.
    2. I-Share union view
      1. Marlee: still on SAML and waiting for IT team to work with her for configuring
      2. FAQ page
        1. Jessica asked for comments on potential use to add to document
      3. Discussion of how to let people know that they’re not on their “default” institution view
        1. alert box in union view?
          1. Alert will be there for the duration of the session
        2. Could add to documentation in home page HTML
          1. Aimee offered to help create
        3. Jessica: need more in-depth analysis of the differences between the union view and an institution view. Is there anything that “can’t” be seen in the union view?
          1. Lindsey: when would we point to the union view? Use cases would be helpful
            1. Where people would go when not associated with an I-Share library
            2. Main limitation is that there would be no local help with the union view.
            3. Can get additional information such as Syndetics Unbound for items library doesn’t own from union view. Jessica will ask about implementing that.
            4. Lindsey, Nathan offered to test searching in the union view
            5. Suggestion to take to the communication liaisons and collection development staff for feedback
            6. Can see electronic holdings for all institutions--perhaps people would want to visit that campus to use.
    3. bX recommender
      1. Lewis, Edwardsville and DePaul are testing it
        1. Collecting data for a FAQ page on the website
      2. Early results: people have already found it and are using it.
      3. “Hit or miss” with when you see the “related reading” link shown on a record.
      4. All are able to participate without implementing as you don’t need to be signed in to view records from participating institutions.
      5. Next steps:
        1. Add questions/answers by August 20th to share with CARLI community
    4. Potential areas of inquiry/work for the Task Force
