• CARLI Announcements
  •     CARLI’s 2025 Annual Meeting and 20th Anniversary Celebration is Tuesday, October 21 in Champaign. Please register to attend.
  • New this year is the use of a carpool app to facilitate ride sharing.

Discussion

    •    Welcome and member introductions 
    •    Group Communication, Minutes, Meeting schedule, Chair appointment 
    •    Committee only email list: carlideicomm@carli.illinois.edu 
    •    Teams will be used for hosting future meetings 
    •    Meetings will not be recorded 
    •    Box will be used for file sharing 

Tasks Assigned

• Member recorded the August meeting minutes.
• Read/edit our Community Agreement 
  • Agendas will be shared one week prior to committee meetings 
  • Minutes takers will be alphabetical, committee members last names 
  • Names of committee members will not be listed on the CARLI website 
  • Monthly meetings are scheduled for the 1st Tuesday of the month, from 1-2:30 pm.
• A member has volunteered to be a Committee Co-chair and another co-chair is needed to work with them.  Co-chairs set meeting agendas and lead meetings and it typically takes only a few hours per month. 
• Committee work: 
  • Idea matrix in Box. Use the 2x2 matrix for suggestions and connections to the strategic plan.
  • Assess CARLI’s DEI work in a systematic review to determine where more emphasis should be directed.
  • Be a support to other CARLI committees regarding DEI goals.
