Announcements   

• CARLI Announcements
  • Save-the-date for CARLI’s annual meeting, celebrating 20 years, Tuesday, October 21 at the iHotel in Champaign.  Director annual meeting is at 9 am, followed by the general annual meeting at 10 am.
  • OER conference is scheduled for July 29-30.
  • With the announcement of IMLS grant cancellations, CARLI is working as a team to figure out the path forward.
  • CARLI staff is making it clear that all its programs are open to all.
  • CARLI plans to increase leadership programs it provides.
  • CARLI Electronic Resource Management Committee is presenting a webinar on Usage Statistics on Friday, April 11 with 96 registered to attend.
  • The AI symposium that three of our committee members are presenting at on April 15 is at capacity with 300 registered attendees.  It will be recorded and shared.
• Committee Announcements
  • In celebration of National Library Week, UIS gave away books and popcorn.
  • The Biodiversity Heritage Library currently supported by the Smithsonian Library and Archives must find another host by December 31, 2025.

Decisions

• No quorum. With many members absent, a quorum was not met, therefore no decisions were made.
