Announcements   

CARLI Updates

  • CY26 cycle is wrapped up, and the ACS and Sage contracts were finalized
  • Beginning work on SaaS renewals, opening in March. Information on the SaaS cycle has been added to the CARLI ERM documentation page
  • Will start working on FY27 selection cycle soon, tentatively opening in April
  • CARLI is reviewing accessibility language and amending contracts when necessary
  • VPATs have been moved from CARLI website to ConsortiaManager, and can be found in the Agreeement > Shared Files section
  • Upcoming CARLI events:
    • "Materials Promotion: CMC Community Chat" on Jan. 15, 10-11:15 a.m.
    • Upcoming ERM webinars, hosted by E-Resources Management Committee:
      • February: Understanding COUNTER Stats (including transition to 5.1)

PRODUCT PROPOSALs

  • Schlager Group - The committee discussed the proposal and had follow up questions for the vendor.

Annual Project

  • Brokering webinar - the committee recommends the afternoon of Feb. 10
  • ConsortiaManager webinar
    • Nicole shared outline with committee
    • Decision to post recording in ConsortiaManager to limit access
    • Committee recommends March 10 at 2 p.m.

Other business

  • Follow up on vendor admin/usage stats info in CM (to replace usage stats page on CARLI e-resources page)
    • Nicole shared work that has been done in CM since last meeting, showing where the information could be added.
    • The committee agreed that the Agreement Summary section at the top of the page was preferred for users because it is easier to find and requires less scrolling. This section is currently not being used for any other purpose.
  • CARLI requesting feedback on e-resources website
    • What information would you expect to see on these pages?
    • What information would be helpful?
    • Is there information that is not needed?
    • Is an FAQ still needed

  • Minutes of the December 12 meeting were approved.
  • Meeting adjourned at 11:57 a.m.

Tasks Assigned

  • Nicole will begin adding vendor admin/usage stats information to the Agreement Summary sections, and will reach out to the committee members for assistance if needed.
  • CARLI staff will follow up with Schlager Group regarding committee's questions
  • Committee members will review the e-resources webpages and provide feedback either via email to the group or during the February meeting
