PRODUCT PROPOSALs

• LibraryPass/Comics Plus - proposal is a carry-over from the previous committee, which wanted to see results of the e-resources interest survey before deciding. Survey data will be available for the September meeting.
• Project Syndicate - proposal is a carry-over from the previous committee, which wanted to see results of the e-resources interest survey before deciding. Survey data will be available for the September meeting.

Other business

• CARLI staff and committee members made introductions
• Jenny discussed the charge of the Commercial Products Committee and the role it plays in informing CARLI's e-resource brokering program
• Nicole provided an overview of committee communication methods
• Jenny discussed the role of the committee chair/co-chairs. Chad volunteered before the meeting, and Ann volunteered to be a co-chair with Chad
• The committee discussed potential standing meeting times
• Nicole provided an overview of the e-resources Interest Survey and its purpose

Decisions

• Chad Buckley and Ann Johnston will be co-chairs for the coming year
• Regular meetings will be held the 2nd Friday of the month, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., beginning Friday, September 12
• Meeting adjourned at 1:44 p.m.

Tasks Assigned

• CARLI staff will send any additional information regarding outstanding vendor proposals for ComicsPlus and Project Syndicate
• Committee members will review vendor proposals in preparation for the Sept. 12 meeting
• CARLI staff will collate and distribute results of the E-Resources Interest Survey for members to review in advance of the Sept. 12 meeting
