Announcements

CARLI Updates

  • CARLI staff are working on the Selection System for FY 2023 and hope to open it to libraries next week
  • Jenny discussed work to make sure pricing is in line with current FTE for institutions, and that CARLI is considering contract language to account for large FTE changes in the future
  • The ERM Taskforce will be hosting the Alma/Primo VE Office Hours on April 14, presenting on setting up SUSHI feeds in Alma and using Alma Analytics to access COUNTER reports
  • Elizabeth provided an update on CARLI's crowdfunded ebook project.
  • CARLI's Public Services Committee will host a webinar on Controlled Digital Lending on April 21.
  • Upcoming CARLI events are on the CARLI calendar
  • Jenny announced some CARLI staff changes

Discussion

PRODUCT PROPOSALS

Visible Body - the committee continued discussion of the proposal from the February meeting, with additional information provied. The committee decided not to pursue a license at this time.

Annual project

  • The webinar is live for registration.
  • Michele volunteered to introduce speakers, and Edith volunteered to moderate the chat Q&A.
  • Test runs will happen next week.

Other topics

  • The committee briefly discussed acquisition budget trends for the next fiscal year. Many are seeing flat or decreasing budgets.

Decisions

  • Minutes from the February meeting were approved.
  • Moderators for the forum were decided upon

Tasks Assigned

  • Jenny will schedule test runs with forum presenters
  • Jenny will send out poll to reschedule April meeting (currently falls on Good Friday, a holiday for some committee members)
