Discussion
- Recap of the Nontraditional Materials chat
- Feedback form may not have been sent out due to changing survey systems.
- The chat went very well with a lot of participation and sharing of non-traditional collections and policies.
- One participant discussed that their non-traditional materials are only acquired and circulated for particular faculty and courses.
- Any tweaks that need to be made for our Alma Analytics chat?
- Questions have been developed on shared in the committee’s collaboration folder.
- Date determined: May 7th at 2 pm for 75 minutes.
- Edith may lead the chat, with Julie as a back-up.
- What do we want to tackle next as a committee?
- Turnover to new members will be in July.
- We could circle back to the CMC webpage and check to see if anything can be added or updated: https://www.carli.illinois.edu/products-services/collections-management
- The two oldest/possibly outdated sections are the Alma Analytics section and the Open Access Materials Collection Program.
- Collections Management Presentations & Webinars was most recently updated in 2015 and may need to be archived.
- Let’s circle back on this topic next meeting and make recommendations for updating the CMC webpage.
