  • Committee members worked together to add additional discussion questions for the webinars.
  • Kim explained that her library lends out cushions for their patrons as an example of a non-traditional material that is circulating.
  • We should consider defining what is a non-traditional circulating material as to not confuse it with special collections.
  • We stated that non-traditional materials would [not] be things like books, audiovisuals, audiobooks, and CDs.
  • Kim also brought up the ideas that we should introduce how our libraries are using non-traditional materials.
  • For the Materials Promotion Webinar, we discussed if we were talking about specific collections to promote or are broadening it to all collections.
  • We also discussed what we thought would be potential outcomes that we expect to come out of these webinars to help us to think about a description to write up.
  • For the next meeting, we will look over the discussion questions again to see what edits or new additions we would like to make. Also, to talk about other webinars we plan to do in the future.
