Directors Session at North Park University

Location: The Brandel Library is located at 5114 N. Christiana Street, Chicago.

Visitor Map. The meeting will be in the first floor conference room in the library which is down the hall to the left as you enter the library. Students at the front desk will be able to direct you to the correct spot and there will be signage.

Parking: North Park University has several parking lots available for student, faculty, and staff use. Please familiarize yourself with our policies and procedures prior to parking on campus.

These “listening sessions” will be informal 2 hour sessions. The sessions will offer library directors an opportunity to talk about their library’s challenges and successes. Although the gathering is intended to be very informal, here are some questions that might help frame the day:

• Are there opportunities that you see that you can’t take advantage of that maybe CARLI could help you with or leverage for you?
• Are there other opportunities for collaboration that CARLI should be pursuing? 
• Are there best practices in your organization that exemplify collaboration through CARLI that we could share with the rest of the consortium?
• Is there a program/service that you are conducting that could be leveraged at scale?
