Pending Proposals

  • Film Ideas - The committee recommended that Film Ideas work directly with CARLI libraries.  Cindy will send an announcement to the e-resources and collections email lists.
  • Learning Express - Questions remain regarding usability by four-year institutions.  Cindy will meet with the sales representative at ALA.
  • Digitalia Hispanica - Continue product review and discuss at February meeting.
  • Rock's Backpages - Insufficient interest exists in this product to pursue a CARLI agreement.
  • Prendismo - Cindy will request a trial for the group.

Aggregated Database RFP document

This should be ready for posting in late January.

EBL eBook PDA Agreement

An agreement has been signed and an announcement will be sent soon.

FTE Information

CARLI has previously collected Fall 10 day FTE information for its member institutions from the IBHE web site, but discovered the Fall 2013 data was not collected by IBHE. Another method of collecting this information may be needed in the future.

Collections Committee eBook PDA event update

Elizabeth mentioned that the project has been funded and another meeting of the planning group will take place later this week. 

IACRL Pre-Conference

Representatives of the Commercial Products Committee will discuss ways in which e-resource information has been used to assist with a larger institutional assessment project. A panel discussion was proposed and agreed upon, with a title to be determined.

 

White Paper

  • Survey results were discussed. 
  • Outlines drafts will be sent to the group as they are completed.
