Louis Henri Sullivan (1856-1924) is known today as a founder of the "Chicago School" of architecture. This digital exhibit features selected Sullivan ornaments owned by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) representing thirty-one buildings.

This window guard is from the Reuben Rubel House. The house was constructed in 1884-1885 at 320 South Ashland Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. It was demolished in 1958.
