CARLI Digital Collections Featured Image: Massimiliano Truzzi

The Bloomington-Normal Local History Resources collection features selected images from the Bloomington Public Library's Illinois Collection Picture File relating to the history of the City of Bloomington, the Town of Normal, as well as McLean County and its communities.

As a student of Enrico Rastelli, Massimiliano Truzzi (1903 - 1974) developed a flamboyant act which involved juggling nine balls, five clubs, six plates with a head bounce. He joined the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus in 1940 and continued to perform until 1960.
