PDA Event: Get Funded! Join Us To Get Expert Advice for Your Grant Idea(s)

Thursday, February 25, 2021 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Presented by Bess de Farber.

Generating fundable grant project ideas for new grant opportunities can be a daunting task when considering the time it takes to prepare the grant application along with creating competitive fundable applications. So during this webinar, the presenters will provide valuable feedback about grant ideas and how to improve your grant application.

If you are interested in getting expert advice, we will need a quick summary of the grant idea, total funding amount, along with the proposed funding agency/program name (s). Submission of grant project ideas should be sent to enorlin@aserl.org by February 19, 2021. We will prioritize the grant idea submissions during the first part of the workshop.

Bess de Farber serves as the grants manager for the George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida Libraries and held the same position at the University of Arizona Libraries. She is the author of Collaborative Grant-Seeking: A Practical Guide for Librarians (2016), and co-author of Collaborating with Strangers: Facilitating Workshops in Libraries, Classes, and Nonprofits (2017). Her latest book, Creating Fundable Grant Proposals: Profiles of Innovative Partnerships, will be released March 2021.
