PDA Event: Essential Tools for Health Literacy

In this brief course, we will cover the basics of finding and evaluating health information online, including government and NGO websites intended for use by patients and families with different needs and reading levels, and more advanced sources for those who may want to delve deeper into health and biomedical research. We will go over some basic guidelines for evaluating health information reported in the media and beyond, and for questions to ask your health providers.
