PDA Event: Analysis and Design for Info Lit Instruction

This webinar is the second in a three-part series that will equip attendees with a strong foundation in instructional design techniques and planning skills that will allow them to expertly instruct educational and learning experiences specifically addressing Information Literacy. 

This session will introduce analysis and backward design. Lindsay O'Neil will talk about analyzing your learners and your unique instructional contexts. We’ll cover the basics of lesson planning, and we will practice using the backward design process to write measurable learning objectives.

Lindsay O'Neil consults with and trains faculty and librarians on effective pedagogy, instructional design, educational technology, elearning development, open licensing, and accessibility. She holds a   Master of Education, specializing in Instructional Design, as well as a Master of Library and Information Science. She is also a faculty member in California State University, Fullerton’s Master  of Science in Instructional Design and Technology program.
