Decisions:

• Updates about the Instruction/Public Services joint sub-committees will be added to the agenda of future meetings.  The previous document that was designated for updates has been deleted.
• The deadline for the Spring webinar proposals is February 11, 2020.

Announcements: 

• Training dates for Alma/Primo VE  are available on the CARLI website. There are still a lot of openings! Attendees that are traveling more than 30 miles, can be reimbursed for their travel expenses.

Updates:

• Instruction/Public Services Subcommittees:
  • The Research and Literature review subcommittee has been disbanded. Members have been advised to join one of the other subcommittees. 
  • The User Experience and Useability subcommittee has been merged with the Customization subcommittee. 
  • Updates about the subcommittee will be provided during monthly meetings.
• Twitter Chat:
  • The committee is waiting until the presenters for the Spring webinar have been decided before scheduling a Spring twitter chat. 
• Fall Article Club:
  • There are currently 21 people registered. 
  • The announcement was shared with all of the LIS programs in the state. 
  • A list “guiding questions” will be sent out via the final announcement and also posted on the CARLI website. 
• Instruction Showcase: 
  • A “save the date”  email announcement will be sent to CARLI members this week. 

Tasks assigned:

• Committee members will review the questions for the Spring Article Club before our February meeting. 
• Amy will update the call for proposals for the Spring webinar. The deadline for proposals (Feb 11th) will be added. 
• Debbie will set up a survey monkey for the webinar proposal submissions. 
• Debbie will send out a “save the date” announcement for the Instruction Showcase.
• Kristin will provide an update about the CARLI workshop at the February meeting.
