Decisions

• Change the “Past Webinars and Events” to include Past Projects and the Blog Series in the webliography.
• Combine the “general topics” and the “specific topics” into alphabetical order in the webliography as “Resources”.  But keep the “Past Projects, webinars, and events” separate at the end as it is CARLI Preservation Committee content.
• Content like those items on “Disaster Planning” may be cross-listed in both the “resources” section and the “Past Projects, webinars, and...” section.
• Update on future events to be discussed at January meeting.

Announcements

• Member Announcements: None
• CARLI Announcements:
  • Archives Task Force is a new CARLI group.  They are basing their resources link on the Preservation Committee’s resources pages. Calls for documentation and resources are forthcoming.
  • Feb. 6th program is coming up and is entitled PDA Event: Intercultural Awareness & Microaggressions. Register on the CARLI website.

Discussion

• Invitation was received to share content with the Technical Services committee on disaster planning.
• Link changes and additions for the resources’ webliography site were discussed.
• Navigation changes for the resources’ webliography provided by the committee were discussed.  
• Conversation notes from the Annual Meeting program were discussed and shared.  Digital preservation was a “hot topic” amongst the participants.  Question from Annual Meeting program participants included: “How do other individuals in CARLI reach out to committee members for guidance and assistance?”
• Discussion of the possibility of topical office hours in the future.

Next Meeting Dates and Deadlines

The next Preservation Committee meeting will be January 8, 2024.
