Discussion

  • The DEI and Alma Analytics subcommittees did not meet as they had completed their work.
  • The Open Access subcommittee completed work on the Review of Open Access Collections in Alma spreadsheet. It will replace the current review on the CARLI website. The group recommended that the spreadsheet be updated every five years.
  • Keith finished revising the Review of Weeding E-books document. The updated version will go on the CARLI website.
  • Chad and Jayna will be our new co-chairs.
  • Purdue and Georgetown have created shelf inventory apps. CARLI is working with a few libraries to get feedback before recommending them. These apps would serve as an alternative to Alma’s shelf lister tool with which some libraries have had issues.
  • Kanopy released information on their new subscription model. CARLI e-resources brokering team will look into it as more information is available.

Next Meeting Dates and Deadlines

Elizabeth and Jen will send out a poll to determine meeting dates. Meetings will continue to be Zoom, at least to begin with. In-person meetings may be scheduled later in the year.
