CARLI Discussion on Authorities in Alma Training

This is a session for CARLI libraries to discuss what was learned at Ex Libris' Authorities in Alma training, held earlier at 8:00 a.m. CST. This session's topic is, "Local authorities in Alma, with a focus on when to use local authorities and when to use global authorities.  Emphasis will be placed on what happens when the same preferred term appears in both a local authority record and global authority record (and why)."

Library staff must register for the Ex Libris event individually. CARLI staff will share the meeting URL to the Technical Services Interest Group email list on February 23.
