CANCELED: Directors Session at Southern Illinois University Carbondale

Location: Morris Library, 605 Agriculture Drive, Carbondale, 62901, DeJarnett American Heritage Room, 3rd Floor of Morris Library

Parking: Lot 6, which is closest to the library, requires a sticker for parking. A day pass to hang on the mirror can be acquired in the library office. Lot 6 does have a few metered spaces, but they are not enough and are frequently full. The other parking option is the metered visitor lot at the Student Center. 

Directions

During this in-person, informal, approximately two-hour session, we’re eager to hear from each of you about your library’s challenges and successes. It is vitally important that we understand your needs as we update our strategic initiatives.
 
Although the session is intended to be unstructured, here are some questions that will help frame the day:

• Are there opportunities that you see that you can’t take advantage of that maybe CARLI could help you with or leverage for you? Are there other opportunities for collaboration that CARLI should be pursuing? 
• Are there best practices in your organization that exemplify collaboration through CARLI that we could share with the rest of the consortium?
• Is there a program/service that you are conducting that could be leveraged at scale for the rest of the consortium?

All sessions are 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and include lunch. You can also attend one of these sessions:

• Thursday, August 18: Governors State University, University Park
• Friday, August 19: Illinois State University, Normal
• Monday, August 29: Northern Illinois University, DeKalb
• Tuesday, August 30: DePaul University, Chicago

Registration is limited. Sessions will not be recorded. If you are unable to attend a session but would like to have a conversation with Anne, please contact CARLI Support to request a meeting.
